The Definitive Guide To The Best Independent Coffee Venues In London

News

Coffee shop or Victorian public lavatory?

Not many venues in London can claim to be in a former Victorian public lavatory, but The Attendant can. Their first store in Foley Street, Fitzrovia has an abundance of charm, with preserved features from its original usage. Not only does the interior add something special to this unique cafĂ© but they roast their own beans and grind them through a Mazzer Robur E and pull shots on a LA Marzocco GB5.

Unlike the original, their second outpost in Shoreditich on Great Eastern Street is a big venue with a light and airy feel. They make the place feel very natural with greenery around the room. With such a charming first venue, it is a hard act to follow. However, The Attendant certainly know what makes a good coffee spot, from interior to food and coffee, they know what puts a smile on their customers faces.

One to add to your ever growing list of coffee shops to see!

The Attendant is full of surprises.
